A senior technologist with over 18 years of experience building commercial software with proven track record of taking numerous projects from incubation through release. A strong background in technology (Masters in Technology) and business (MBA) enables me to work comfortably across engineering and business teams. Worked in a variety of roles in Consulting, Presales, QA, Development and Program Management covering a broad spectrum of skills and experiences.

Wiebe is an experienced Android Developer with a passion for UX, UI and innovation. Loves sharing his experience on designing and developing Android applications. During the day he is creating custom Android applications based on cutting edge technology. Also a co-founder and organiser of The Dutch Android User Group. A Google Developer Group where Dutch Android professionals can meet and connect with each other and share their knowledge of and experience with their passion, Android.

Rebecca is an Android Developer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She studied Information Technology at the University of Johannesburg. She loves making apps that are beautiful and responsive. In her spare time she can be found working on an open source app "Book Dash" which contains free children's books in different African languages. Other than her love for Android development, Rebecca loves to bake in her spare time and is constantly on the hunt for the best lemon meringue.

Dario is a Senior Android Developer at Shopify and Google Developer Expert in Android. He is an active member of the Android community and spends a lot of time writing about code and talking at local meetups in Maputo and Ottawa in Canada. App architecture, UI/UX design are some of the things he loves doing and talking about with other Android developers.

John is a Program Manager with Google's Developer Ecosystem team and leads the Agency Program in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is passionate about modern apps development practices and how developers can leverage them to build successful tech enabled ventures. Before joining Google John was a Technical Evangelist with Microsoft and had spent 7 years before that building enterprise software.

Kechy Eke is the Product Manager for Firebase Dynamic Links. She has a passion for building great products and solutions that delight users. Before joining the Firebase team, Kechy was a Technical Account Manager for 2+ years serving as the technical point of contact and trusted adviser on ad serving products (DFP, AdX, Admob) for top strategic mobile and music partners. Prior to Google, she worked as a Java Developer on IBM Content Integrator; an enterprise product providing content integration capabilities and a common API set across multiple Content Management Systems. Features developed include web services, content streaming and an administrator console.  

Kimoon Kim is a Google Authorised Trainer for Google Cloud Platform, with an academic background in Biomedical, Electrical and Software Engineering. He flies around South Africa training entrepreneurs and developers to use the Google Cloud Platform tools. He is well-known in the GCP community for speaking on Machine Learning, Big Data and Dark Data. He is an organiser of the GDG Cloud Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. His passion is turning innovative ideas into products and spreading a love for the beauty of patterns in the world of data. In his spare time, you will find him snuggling with his Dachshunds and listening to music.

Mustafa is an engineering leader with over 7 years of experience of building mobile products with a passion for building and scaling world-class engineering teams. He currently leads the Hardware and Payments engineering team at Shopify that builds payment terminals that process transactions worth billions of dollars each year. In his free time, he co-organizes the Ottawa Android developers group and mentors startups from Africa, Asia, Europe and Central/South America as a part of the Google Launchpad Accelerator.
