Yes, you need to be registered in order to access the APIs and participate in the contest. If you are not registered, you can get started here.

Yes, you can still participate if you do not have a real brand to launch with. You will not be eligible for the full spectrum of prizes, but we do have prize options for this category as well.

Yes! This is a global competition and we'd love to have your participation. 

Trade sanctions apply to contests. In practice, this means that we cannot run competitions in or allow residents of the following countries to participate:

  • Crimea
  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • North Korea
  • Sudan
  • Syria

Persons who are (1) residents of US embargoed countries, (2) ordinarily resident in US embargoed countries, or (3) otherwise prohibited by applicable export controls and sanctions programs may not participate in this contest.

Yes, you can submit multiple project submissions but you are only eligible for a single prize.  

Contestants are only eligible for a single prize but you may submit more than a single agent to the contest. 

If your company is participating in the contest, you cannot participate as an individual in the contest. 

Yes, improvements to existing agents are eligible for submission but you must build a novel user journey that substantially upgrades the current agent experience. It cannot be a simple feature integration, such as chips or rich cards. 

The specific evaluation criteria found on the contest details page are mostly related to conversational experience with the agent. However, creating a screencast with an end to end experience from agent creation over to the actual agent adds to the overall impression of the project submission.
