Google’s NYC Farm to Table chapter is excited to announce that they will be partnering with FarmOn! Foundation to empower NY State farmers & food providers to Get Their Businesses Online!
WHAT ARE we partnering to do? Four out of five people search for local businesses online. The search term ‘Farm to Table’ has grown nearly 5x in the past 5 years. A challenge today is that many upstate farms do not currently have business presence online, making their local ingredients harder to find.
Google Farm to Table is partnering with FarmOn! Foundation to change this by leading NY state farmers & food providers in a Get Your Business Online training.
Our goal is to drive rural prosperity by facilitating economic development. Our initiative is supported by Google’s Accelerate program.
Our 2018 trainings will focus on the following:
1. Get Your Business Online maps sign-up
2.Basic website creation (free Google web page)
3. Free Google Analytics
4. Intro to AdWords (Google advertising)

WHAT IS Google’s NYC Farm to Table Group?
Google’s NYC Farm to Table community is a global, cross-campus network of Google employees who are dedicated to supporting sustainability in our food system. Our focus areas are in service, education, and connections. We encourage discussions and facilitate experiences around: sustainable agriculture, farm tours, volunteering, seasonal produce, home cooking, organic gardening, and more.

FarmOn! Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization and public charity that creates and funds youth educational programs and is working to preserve family farming in America by fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of youth in agriculture to rebuild rural economies and fill the succession gap on family farms to inspire a world where a career in sustainable agriculture is valued and profitable for the next generation to feed us.
