Angelina Darrisaw is the founder and CEO of C-Suite Coach, a social enterprise whose mission is to scale coaching for diverse working professionals and small business leaders. C-Suite Coach collaborates with employers to create business solutions that empower and educate teams, as well as retain and engage diverse employees.
C-Suite Coach has been featured in numerous media outlets, including Business Insider, Fast Company, Forbes, Thrive Global, Essence, and career sites such as Levo.com, Recruiter.com and Monster.com. A 1st prize winner of Uber’s NYC Pitch Competition, C-Suite Coach has corporate clients across various sectors, including education, law, advertising, technology, and transportation. With the 20+ coaches and facilitators across the C-Suite Coach network, the company has served institutions such as New York University, Zendesk, Oscar Health, WIX, Year Up, TIAA, Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, T. Howard Foundation, and individual entrepreneurs across the United States, Israel, Australia, Canada, and more.
Angelina, who covered Google’s Thrive magazine, highlighting women business owners who partner with Google, services small businesses as a National Google Coach. Through this role, C-Suite Coach leads Google’s efforts in bridging the digital divide, offering free coaching and resources to over 30,000 US based diverse small businesses through more than 500 programs with 10 coaches in key metro markets (Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, DC, Detroit, Harlem, LA, Miami, Greater NYC, and Pittsburgh).These efforts helped her earn “Program of The Year” by Black Googlers and Walker’s Legacy Power25 award in 2017, the "Innovators & Disruptors: Diversity & Inclusion Award" presented by New York On Tech and NBC Universal, the Year Up Urban Empowerment Award in 2018, and the Digital Diversity Network 2019 Innovation and Inclusion for social entrepreneurship.
As a My Black is Beautiful and Pantene brand ambassador, Angelina was featured in national ads in Oprah, Ebony and Essence magazines and profiled in Buzzfeed, Huffington Post and BET.com and has hosted self-esteem workshops to inspire women, girls and young people across the country. She has also appeared in ad campaigns for 23andMe, Hairfinity, Harvard Business School, and more.
Angelina holds an M.A. in Management from Wake Forest University, a Certificate of Coaching from New York University (where she serves as an Adjunct Professor) and a B.A. in Political Science from Davidson College. Angelina proudly serves on the advisory board for Black Enterprise's Women Of Power Summit, the board of Youth Communication, the steering committee for the Alvin Ailey’s Young Patrons Circle and the Alumni Board of Directors for Davidson College, In 2014, she was selected as a Council of Urban Professionals Fellow for exemplary leadership. She is a two-time Top 20 finalist for Miss New York USA, a marathoner, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
