On Demand Sessions
Hyfforddiant i helpu ysgolion i gael y gorau o'u buddsoddiad mewn dyfeisiau trwy edrych sut y gall athrawon a myfyrwyr ddatgloi potensial Chromebooks. Yn ystod y sesiwn hon, byddwn yn canolbwyntio ar yr hyn sy'n gwneud ChromeOS yn wahanol: rhannadwyedd, bywyd batri, gosodiadau defnyddwyr myfyrwyr yn erbyn gosodiadau athrawon, a gwydnwch. Trwy gydol y sesiwn byddwch yn darganfod ystod o gyngor defnyddiol sut i ddefnyddio Chromebooks ac yn dysgu am y nodweddion hygyrchedd sy'n helpu pawb i wneud defnydd llawn o'r dyfeisiau.

Pryd: Dydd Llun 20fed Medi, 4yh - 5.30yh
Designed to help schools get the most from their investment in devices by exploring how teachers and students can unlock the potential of a Chromebook. During this session, explore what makes ChromeOS different: shareability, battery life, student user settings vs. teacher settings, and durability. Throughout the session you will discover a range of useful Chrome tips and the built in accessibility features.
When: Monday 20th September, 4.45pm - 5.15pm
This session will focus on how bringing Chromebook and Google Workspace into our teaching can transform the way our students learn. By sharing ideas and examples, we will show that technology makes it possible for you to transform the types of tasks you set your students.
Explore how you can embed digital activities through a session, from pre class work & starter activity right through to plenaries making effective use of your Chromebooks and Google Workspace tools such as:
- Research and cite directly from within a Google Doc
- Encourage independence with flipped activities in Google Forms
- Record project work through interactive notebooks in Google Slides
- Let students showcase the work they are proud of with in Google Sites
When: Tuesday 14th September, 4pm - 4.30pm
This session will demonstrate how to create simple activities in Classroom, Docs, Slides, Forms and Jamboard, that focus on access and inclusion, allowing every student to participate in your lessons in the classroom or at home.
Building on the Transforming your lessons with Chromebooks and Google Workspace session, we will slow things down and show you how to create resources that can be used in all parts of the lesson. You can create with us as we work on:
- Setting up a simple Classroom and set permissions
- Creating a starter activity in Google Docs
- Prepare a Google Slide for group work
- Set up a self marking quiz in Google Forms
- Create a Jamboard ready for a collaborative activity

Aimed at teachers and learning support, this session will give you a toolkit of assessment and feedback options available through Google Workspace, from in-built Google Classroom and Google Docs features, to third party tools that allow visual feedback to compliment written feedback or where in-person feedback is not suitable or feasible.

This session will take you through Google Drive, the cloud based storage you can access anywhere, anytime from any device. We will look at; how you can manage your own Drive, collaborate easily with others and share key documents, planning and resources.

Aimed at teachers and learning support, this session specifically looks at Google Drive collaboration and sharing through the lens of lesson planning. Using Shared Drives as a year group or faculty team, you can provide easy access to learning resources, central curriculum templates and assignments whether you are working together or separately.
Take away some simple ideas to reduce your planning time and make sure everyone has the best resources at their fingertips.
