Join us for an end of term celebration!

Hear the latest on new G Suite Tools, Chrome Devices, and how learners are inspiring each other across Scotland and beyond.

Find out more on the latest deployment practices, security and of course GDPR.

AND we encourage you to Bring Your OLD Device! Schools tend to have a lot of old kit... dust off those old Netbooks, Macbooks, or PCs and give them a new lease on life with CloudReady and Google for Education.

Bring Your OLD Device!

The Bring Your Old Devices presentation is for school leaders who are keen to maximise existing hardware whilst accelerating their school’s move to the Cloud. Given current budgetary pressures and compliance demands, it’s more important now than ever to find practical solutions that increase secure, cloud-centric access to computing in schools. The afternoon’s sessions will focus on CloudReady deployment, Chromebook management, and Google’s commitment to Privacy, Security, and GDPR compliance.

More About Bring Your OLD Device & Specifications

We invite delegates to bring up to 5 old PCs, Macs, or Netbooks per school to the event. Specialists from Neverware will be flashing these old devices with CloudReady, an operating system based on Google’s Chromium OS. CloudReady breathes new life into old hardware, enabling schools to get extra use out of devices that may otherwise collect dust.

Before the event, attendees will need to register for a CloudReady Trial at try.neverware.com. This will allow us to tie the devices you bring to your school/MAT’s domain. At the end of the event, your devices will be returned to you as “new” fast, reliable CloudReady Machine(s). If you’d like to check whether your devices are supported, please reference this site: https://goo.gl/Jy25nV. So please do join us and bring along some old kit… we will be wiping them clean so be sure to save any data beforehand! Learn more at try.neverware.com.
