Welcome to the
AMP & PWA Training
for Web Developers

AMP & PWA are part of your daily job?

So why don’t you join our first two-day training on AMP & PWA for Web Developers?

We will kick-off the day with a short summary of the most important tools to optimize mobile load times. Afterwards we will deep dive into Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) and discuss different components such as AMP carousel.

In our AMP code lab we will build a dynamic video search engine considering the named components including the data endpoints as well as different UI-patterns.

On day two we will deep dive into Progressive Web Apps (PWA) - a new way to deliver amazing user experiences on the web. This new level of quality allows Progressive Web Apps to earn a place on the user's home screen.

All attendees will receive the opportunity to take the new Mobile Web Specialist Certificate for free. You will receive an access code after the training. Additionally, we will introduce you to the new Directory of Agencies Building Progressive Web Apps.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Berlin!

The language of instruction will be English. Seats are limited! Register now to secure your participation.

Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)

The AMP Project is an open-source initiative aiming to make the web better for all.

The project enables the creation of websites and ads that are consistently fast, beautiful and high-performing across devices and distribution platforms.

53% of mobile users abandon sites that take over 3 seconds to load. An average AMP site loads in less than 0.5 seconds. More information on AMP here

Progressive Web Apps (PWA)

Progressive Web Apps are user experiences that have the reach of the web, and are:

Reliable - Load instantly and never show the downasaur, even in uncertain network conditions.

Fast - Respond quickly to user interactions with silky smooth animations and no janky scrolling.

Engaging - Feel like a natural app on the device, with an immersive user experience.

This new level of quality allows Progressive Web Apps to earn a place on the user's home screen. More information here.
