Karen Delfau

Karen Delfau
Project Manager for Site Reliability Engineering Group

Karen Delfau has been at Google for over 9 years, in several different teams and Product Areas: Ads, Corporate Engineering, Acquisition Integrations, and is currently in the SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) group. She is a senior project manager who manages both large-scale projects and teams ranging from program management, off-shore development, technical writing, localization, and UX. Having spent all of her career in the software industry, Karen's other experience includes speaking on Agile and localization, development and deployment of international training programs, offshoring, and optimization of vendor management efforts. Karen gives back to Google as a long-time Women@Google steering committee member, speaks on Career Panels like these, and is on the TPM hiring committee.

Mark Schleifer

Mark Schleifer
Network Engineering Manager

Mark Schleifer is a Network Engineering Manager with teams that focus building SDN based WAN and datacenter networks and the security of network devices. Prior to Google, he spent 20 years in hands-on NetEng/Arch roles taking startup ISPs from dial-up to globe spanning networks. In his spare time he enjoys tabletop and video games, spending time with his wife and 3 kids, building lego models, and learning woodworking.

Kristie Howard

Hardware Operations Manager

Kristie has been at Google since 2014 and works as a Hardware Operations Manager in the Atlanta, GA Datacenter. Her duties span managing the hardware engineers at keep the Datacenters running and Diversity and Inclusion projects for the DCs. Kristie is passionate social change and community engagement; she frequently volunteers with University programs. Previously, Kristie served in the US Army from 1996 - 2004 and is a Iraq and Afghanistan veteran. After leaving the Army, Kristie completed her Computer Science degree at the University of Maryland and went on to work for various government agencies.

Jeremy Archer

Site Reliabilty Engineer

Jeremy Archer is a Site Reliability Engineer at Google New York. He has been working for Google for one year, and supports Persistent Disk, the block storage layer underlying Google Compute Engine. He graduated in 2016 from the University of Chicago.

Greg Edwards

Greg Edwards
Technical Program Manager 

Greg Edwards is a technical program manager at Google where he focuses on storage efficiency. He came to program management by way of systems administration and musical theatre writing, which career path he recommends to anyone with a profound sense of irony.

 

Dei Robinson

System Administrator

Dei [dee] Robinson graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 2008. A year prior to graduation she started her career as a System Administrator which continued for several years. Her 1 year Googleversary is this August, working as an Operations Engineer for Hardware Operations. In addition she is the local Black Googler Network (BGN) site lead coordinating technology learning events for underrepresented youth. When not working she enjoys staying active and being awesome.

 

Kitty Hamilton

Site Reliability Engineer

Kitty Hamilton is a Storage SRE on the Chronicle team in New York. Chronicle is a data backup service and the two halves of the team work in New York and Dublin. Kitty has been at Google for less a year and was hired as a recent graduate of Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. She is actually from Durham and is delighted be a part of Sandbox in her hometown.
