Invest in your professional development with Google’s Tech Elevate program.

Join Google’s Tech Elevate, a six-week virtual program designed to enhance your technical knowledge and support your professional development through live-streamed trainings, self-study resources, and access to Google engineers. Brush up on coding essentials, learn about leading technologies, and discover new career pathways in tech - all at your own pace and convenience.

Agenda

Over six weeks, participants of this program will:

  • Learn how Google engineers use algorithms and data structures to solve real-world problems and improve our products.
  • Discover non-abstract large system design principles, machine learning possibilities, and how we build infrastructure at Google scale.
  • Hear from Googlers about their career journeys, ask them questions, and think through challenges together.
  • Be a part of a virtual, international community that shares similar challenges and is united by an eagerness to grow professionally.

This program was created for software engineers looking to brush up on core technical skills, learn more about technologies like machine learning, or considering their next career move. Google's Tech Elevate is open to people working in technical fields (e.g. Software Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering), with 2+ years work experience, and based in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. There is no cost to take part.

To participate in this program, participants need to be able to read Python and code in either C++, Java, or Python.

Though open to everyone, the program has a dedicated focus on engaging people from communities and backgrounds that have been historically underrepresented in the tech industry.

  • We bring the sandbox, you build the sandcastle. Google's Tech Elevate program team will provide the topics, tools, and resources, but it’s up to you to make the most of them. The more you invest in this virtual program, the more you are likely to get out of it.
  • Leverage the community. More than 100 people from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa will be going through the same topics and challenges together - why not to make it easier (and more fun) for each other? Asking questions and engaging in discussion via our virtual community is strongly encouraged.
  • Complete YOUR puzzle. We understand that everyone is different, with varying interests, backgrounds, experiences, commitments, and more. We celebrate this individuality! Turn on your own filter and focus on the content and topics that are most relevant to you.
