About this event

Join us at 3:30pm on Friday 23rd August 2019 at Google Digital Garage Sunderland for a special session with Googler Kass Yassin, who will be taking a hands-on approach to exploring the various stages of a typical design project by collaboratively designing an app of our very own.

In this introduction session to UX Design, we’ll gather requirements for the app we want to build, and then we’ll run through some of the main steps and techniques used to turn a concept into screens.

About Veda Panneershelvam

Veda joined DeepMind in October 2013 (pre acquisition by Google) as a Software Engineer. That was his entry point to Machine Learning and over the past few years, he has worked on really cool applied and research projects such as AlphaGo and Google DataCenter Cooling optimization.
