Digital Springboard

Digital Springboard is a program by Infoxchange and Google to help people learn the digital skills they need to thrive in work and life. By attending a free Digital Springboard course, community members can improve their digital skills across a range of areas.

As part of the Grow with Google Adelaide event, Infoxchange will be running the Digital Springboard 'Digital skills to land your dream job' course.

Who is it for? Anyone who is looking for a new job or just wants to put their best foot forward when entering the job market.

In this informal workshop, we'll cover: 

  • The key elements of an online professional profile and how it can help you stand out to employers
  • How to think creatively about your skills and strengths

Google and the Walkley Foundation are working together to bring the latest digital skills to newsrooms across Australia and New Zealand. Together, we aim to provide free and in-person training workshops to 4,000 journalists, editors and students by the end of the year.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn a broad range of practical tools that you can use immediately, from advanced search techniques, to using data to tell stories, to the latest ways to detect and fight misinformation online.
