Safer Internet Week

Tuesday, February 11th - Saturday, February 15th

During Safer Internet Week, we want to help families Be Internet Awesome and learn about online safety, citizenship, and wellbeing. We're offering workshops and an interactive Be Internet Awesome family online safety pop-up experience to help you learn to be safer online.

Families will learn to teach their kids how to communicate responsibly, understand real from fake in the face of phishing and scams, build strong passwords, be positive and kind online, talk about questionable content with their family, and learn why building healthy tech habits is important.

The pop-up experience and workshops will focus on Be Internet Awesome’s “Internet Code of Awesome”: Be SMART, ALERT, STRONG, KIND and BRAVE.

Families will get to play their way to Internet Awesome and receive bilingual resources, answers to questions about online safety and digital citizenship, and information to help facilitate discussions at home.

The pop-up experience will be open to the public.
