Google Play provides developers ready access to more than a billion users across the world. In addition, developers in Indonesia have access to a huge audience base that is specifically looking for local content. We are especially committed to helping game developers who are focussing on local users, thrive and highlighting the best available games to users.

Indonesia Games Contest is an initiative to discover and showcase the best games from the country. This contest could help you get your game noticed by industry experts and players across Indonesia. Also, it’s your chance to win prizes that will help you grow your business, including:


The process

Once submissions close, all eligible entries will be reviewed and up to top 15 finalists will be chosen based on the level of localization, innovation, fun, design excellence, and technical & production quality.

Please note that localization is a key metric for us. Games where the full gameplay has been localized in Bahasa will score higher on this parameter.

The finalists will get to showcase their games at an open showcase event in Jakarta on 26 April’17. At the event, the Top 3 winners will be selected by the showcase attendees, the Google Play team and a jury of industry experts.
