Senior Staff Software Engineer (Finance)

Mike Procopio is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google. He’s passionate about using machine intelligence to create impact for good. Mike holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado, where he studied Machine Learning and Autonomous Robot Navigation. Scott Green

Site Director (Payments)

Scott is Google Boulder's Engineering Site Director and an Engineering Director on Payments. The Boulder office has product development teams, Google Technical Services teams and People Operations teams. The office develops software for Advanced Measurement Technologies, Chrome OS, Geo, Google Drive, Search and Payments. Scott was VP of Engineering for SketchUp, which was acquired by Google in 2006. Scott graduated from Iowa State University in 1982 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Software Engineer (Apps Drive)

Mike Colagrosso is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where he has worked for 7 years. His current role applies Google's machine learning magic to Google Drive, including Quick Access, which shaves 50 percent off the time it takes to open a file. Mike researched and taught machine learning as a professor at the Colorado School of Mines. Rock climbing is his hobby, and he also likes to take his family camping and snowboarding.

I'm from the U.S. Virgin Islands originally, but I've been working at Google Boulder for 11 years now, with stints on Google Docs, Drive, Developer Tools, and Shopping. Today I manage a team in top-secret Ads research. In my spare time I write comedy (including the last Google Boulder musical) and perform improv and musical theater.

Frontend Software Engineer

Alana is a many-generation Colorado native that went across the country to Georgia Tech to learn that Computer Science was a thing and that happened to be the thing that Google did. Now she is on the wonderful Enterprise Content Management team and happy to be improving upon and updating the tools big companies need to be efficient. In Alana's free time she plays soccer, care for and draw her tens of plants, and try to tame her handsome beast of chaos and cuddles.

Mike is the Tech Lead for a team of engineers working to verify the identity of individuals and organizations using Google products when required: for regulatory compliance; to prevent abuse; to combat misinformation. Previously, Mike improved worldwide credit card system reliability and cardholder experiences @ Google and has been in the Denver/Boulder area focusing on customer / payments software solutions for the 20 years prior. Mike has a Computer Science Engineering degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, has two children attending college and enjoys traveling with family and friends at every chance.
