What is Grow with Google?

Grow with Google is an initiative that draws on our 20-year history of building products, platforms, and services that help people and businesses grow. Through Grow with Google, we aim to help everyone across America – those who make up the workforce of today and the students who will drive the workforce of tomorrow – access the best of Google’s training and tools to grow their skills, careers, and businesses.

Why is Grow with Google coming to Columbia?

We are excited to bring the Grow with Google Tour to South Carolina’s capital. With a growing downtown and as a center for government, education, and IT sector, Soda City is on the move. There is also a collaborative culture across the community that makes it the perfect place to bring Grow with Google. We believe the tools and opportunities Grow with Google offers will help South Carolinians throughout the region develop new skills and grow their business.

Do I have to sign up for a workshop?

No, you are free to come to the event without attending a workshop. We have plenty of other things for you to check out, including hands-on demos, 1-1 coaching, and more. If you’d like to do this, please choose ‘Drop in (come & go as you please)’ on our registration page

What does ‘Drop in (come & go as you please)’ mean?

If you select ‘Drop in (come & go as you please)’ on the registration page, this means that you are confirmed to attend Grow with Google Columba. However, this option does not guarantee a seat in any of our workshops offered. If you’d like to attend a specific workshop, please select that on our registration page to secure your seat.

What if the workshop I’d like to attend isn’t on the registration page or is full?

Unfortunately, this means the workshop is at capacity and we’re unable to take any additional guests for that workshop. If you are unable to register for a particular workshop, but would still like to attend, we recommend choosing ‘Drop in (come & go as you please)’ on our registration page. When you check-in at the event, please ask to be placed on the waitlist for any workshops you’d like to attend, and we’ll do our best to get you into those sessions.

Why can I only sign up for two sessions?

To do our best to accommodate as many guests as possible, we have to limit the number of workshops each individual can sign up for.
