Frequently Asked Questions
Are you already registered or considering attending a Grow with Google Vermont event? Here’s what you should know before joining us.
Grow with Google is an initiative that draws on our 20-year history of building products, platforms, and services that help people and businesses grow. Through Grow with Google, we aim to help everyone across America – those who make up the workforce of today and the students who will drive the workforce of tomorrow – access the best of Google’s training and tools to grow their skills, careers, and businesses.
We are proud that in 2017, 10,000 Vermont businesses, website publishers, and nonprofits benefitted from Google tools and that we helped provide $1.89 billion of economic activity for Vermont organizations (source). And we know that for many small businesses, learning how to harness the Internet can help them grow their business.
We also recognize the importance of digital skills when searching for a job in Vermont. According to the National Skills Coalition, middle-skills jobs account for 49% of all jobs in Vermont, but only 41% of state workers are trained to the middle-skill level.
We’re excited to partner with terrific libraries and community organizations throughout the state to further this commitment by helping Vermont job seekers and small businesses access digital skills training.

We'll do our best to let you in, but it is not guaranteed. If you aren't able to pre-register for a certain workshop, we encourage you to check out our online resources at google.com/grow.
