Google Launchpad Mentors are carefully selected experts in their field and reviewed by our Head Mentors from previous Launchpad events and a committee of Googlers. We do have mentors in the area of Product Strategy, User Experience and User Interface, Technology and Marketing as well as in the areas of Finance, HR, Legal Sales and Business Development.

Marc is a product strategist, consultant & founder who has worked on consumer, enterprise and medical software products. He founded 3 companies, and consulted for over 20, focusing on product, innovation, marketing & UX. These businesses range from small startups to big multinational corporations. Marc is also providing consultation to the German government on issues around the digital economy.

As a Google Expert, Marc helps startups find out what their potential customers really need, how to test for product-market fit early and how to develop for actual demand in the leanest way. Marc also helps evaluate whether the UX will fit the business purpose of the product, and whether the product marketing is correct. His extensive network provides customers, funding, publicity and talent.

In addition to working at his own companies and consultating for others, Marc delivers keynote presentations about innovation and product management; mentors startups; and commits himself to the development of the Berlin startup ecosystem. Marc studied business, marketing and communication sciences, and speaks German, English and French.

Dhyana (Dee) Scarano // Futurice Germany

Danut has been spending entirely too much time in front of computers since he was 4, so it wasn't a big surprise when he started working for Microsoft in Redmond (SQL Server) and then Google in Munich. Dr. Jens Pippig is the Founder and Managing Director of the ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator. Before that he was leading the Group's strategy department.

Prior to that, Jens spent eight years at McKinsey & Company in Berlin and specialized in e-commerce, private equity, and retail businesses. He also founded two successful companies in the field of market research and employer branding in Sweden. Jens studied economics at Witten/Herdecke University where he obtained his PhD. He also studied in Stockholm and at Harvard.
