Andri Yadi

 

Andri is a proud coder for 18 years, and a self-taught entrepreneur for 12 years. He is also the co-founder of DyCode, a leading, 9 years mobile app solutions development company, one of early players in (modern) mobile app industry in Indonesia. He is the co-creator of well-known award-winning products, such as Movreak and Jepret products family. He is also an educator and influencer around development and entrepreneurship in mobile app, IoT, and startup scene in Indonesia, which he has been delivering 100+ talks, classes, and conferences around those areas. He co-founded 5 developer communities, including the first iOS developer community in Indonesia, which he still serves as the president.
 
Having background in physics and electronics beside software engineering, his recent endeavour is around IoT, which he and his team spent most of their time in the workshop, to make things happen. His last successful IoT product is Jepret Allegra, part of Jepret family, a custom-made, compact, autonomous machine for delivering engagements around venues and events. Gibran started his entrepreneurship endeavor from the second year in college. He set up catfish farming business in 2011 and built it persistently until it has 83 units of hatchery ponds now. After he graduated from biological science ITB in 2012, he saw an opportunity in supporting technology for fish farmers. He began to build eFishery at the time, which is the first internet of things (IoT) for fish farming in Indonesia that enable farmers to feed the fish automatically, sense the fish appetite, and connected to the internet. After months of research and hundreds of units of sales, eFishery is now recognized as one of the most distinguished IoT startups in Indonesia, as it is focusing in the big issue and creating impacts for both people and environment.

He was the 1st winner at Mandiri Young Technopreneur Award 2012, and awarded as Best of the Best Young Entrepreneur 2013 by Ministry of SME Indonesia. He was also the Global Winner of Get In The Ring 2014, the olympiad for startup in Rotterdam, Slush Global Winner 2014 in Helsinki, Seedstars World Global Finalist 2015 in Geneva, and got the award as the 1st winner in Spark Fire Pitch on Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2015 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Dr Eunice Sari is the Co-Founder and Principal UX Consultant from UX Indonesia (uxindo.com) – the first HCI and UX business in Indonesia since 2002. With more than 15+ years of experience working in both academia and industries, she has pioneered a number of forward-thinking and innovative projects, such as user experience for digital products and services, mobile learning, Internet of Things (IoT), service design and online community in order to effect changes in life and improve the bottom line of business in various vertical industries in USA, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Eunice assumes multiple leadership roles pertinent to UX and HCI in Asia Pacific including Indonesia. She is the Chair of the Indonesia Association Computing Machinery Special Interest Group in Computer Human Interaction (Indonesia ACM SIGCHI) Chapter (known as CHI UX Indonesia – chiuxid.acm.org) for the period of 2014-2016, the South East Asia Liaison for ACM SIGCHI Asia Development Committee, the Expert Member of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) TC 13 – Human Computer Interaction (HCI) for Indonesia, and the Western Australia Representative for the Human Factors Ergonomic Association Computer Human Interaction Special Interest Group (HFESA CHISIG). With her roles, she facilitates the collaboration between academia and industry in the fields of Education, Technology, HCI and UX.

She has been invited as a keynote speaker in a number international UX, HCI, Education and Technology events in Indonesia as well as internationally. She has convened and managed a large number of local, national and international events in UX, Technology and Education. She has internationally published a number of articles, book chapters, journals, conference papers. She has been serving as an international editorial board of reviewers of several international journals and conferences for the last ten years.

Shah Widjaja

 

Shah is the Principal UX Consultant and founder of Nmbl Consulting. He has been working in the field of interaction design since 1998 in Australia, Jakarta & Singapore. At Nmbl, he served regional clients in the government sector, high-tech, retail, telco and finance on UX Analytics (measurable user experience design solutions) for cross channels delivery across desktop, tablet and mobile.

Shah believes the role of a UX designer is more than delivering tactical executions. Taylor Ling // Google Developer Expert

 

Taylor is a professional Android Designer and passionate about good mobile UI/UX.

Previously he worked in a 3D printing company on their life-saving medical software. Today, he works at Snappymob, a startup in Kuala Lumpur making a difference in the local mobile app development scene by creating high quality apps that users love.

He started AndroidUIUX.com in early 2012 as a source of inspiration for Android developers and designers on Android Design topics, as well as offering free design resources. Sulis has over 10 years of experience in User Research, Strategy and Design. She received her Bachelor degree in Product Design and PhD in Human Factors from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She previously worked as Senior UX Designer at Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and Reading Room Singapore, before moving back to Indonesia in 2012 and founded Somia Customer Experience. 
 
Throughout her professional career, Sulis has led international user research and design activities, and contributed to award-winning products. She has facilitated multiple innovation workshops with cross-functional groups and developed UX training module for the government agency in Singapore and companies in Indonesia. She also mentored several startups based in Indonesia. Sulis lives in Bali and loves spending her free time to read and relax by the beach.

Rudi Lim // Mind Lens Worldwide

Rudi has been contributing to the world of User Experience for the past 10 years, both professionally and academically. More than 60 major global and local brands such as Samsung, Intel, Microsoft, LG, Yahoo, Koprol, Citibank, Development Bank of Singapore, Sands and the Singapore government have benefited from his incisive research insights and strategic design consultation.  

Always passionate about the start-up ecosystem, Rudi has advised and worked with regional start-ups across many domains - Artificial Intelligence (AI), travel, hyper-local services, e-commerce and mobile payment. In order to help start-ups turn around their design faster, he is also running Nesto Store http://www.nestowebdesign.com/store, a side project he initiated to provide designers and developers with UI design resources.

Since 2006, Rudi has conducted regular User Experience training courses and seminars in Singapore and abroad for private sector clients and agencies such as Singapore Computer Society. Academically, he also nurtures the community through his involvement with UniSIM Singapore’s Bachelor of Ergonomics program students. It is a lovely experience as the students are teaching him new things as well.

Not happy with dabbling in only User Experience, Rudi has taken on the challenge of learning full-stack coding. You can find him currently filling his free time writing a MEANJS Rudi was the Vice-Chairman of Ergonomics Society of Singapore (ERGOSS) between 2007-2009. He graduated from the Master’s degree in Human Factors Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) as one of the cohort’s best. He also holds a certificate in Usability (CUA) from Human Factors International.

Sigit Adinugroho

 

Sigit has 8 years of experience in designing user interface for the web and mobile. More of a practical and hands-on designer, he spent time in Oracle designing learning products for teachers, students and lecturers in schools and universities worldwide, before jumping to the startup bandwagon designing for Bukalapak and Ice House. He helped DBS Bank in Singapore in transitioning into “digital delightful banking” before returning to Indonesia to work on yet another startup in the making. That said, he prides himself to have worked in both big and small organizations.
 
He holds a Masters Degree in Digital Media from Bandung Institute of Technology. His passion lies in helping businesses improve with design thinking and integrating with the team to ship products as quickly as possible. On the sides, he enjoys spending time with his wife and his baby daughter in Jakarta, while aiming for the next travel spots to write in his travel blog.

Ibun Sina Wardy // Google Developer Expert

 

Ibun is a programmer and founder of the small-medium company named GITS Indonesia - a mobile app development company which specializes in Android app development. As part of the team, Ibun has developed more than 50 Android applications and helped many companies to build their products.

He is a community enthusiast, and founded @dokterdroid, a twitter community on Android technology and is also a writer on droidindonesia.com. He constantly shares tips on setting up a startup through offline communities and at campus settings.

In addition he mentors startups in Bandung Digital Valley, an incubator by Telkom – the biggest telecoms company in Indonesia. He guides the startup to validate their product and makes sure the team produces high quality product.

He studied Informatics at the Bandung Institute of Technology. He lives in Bandung with his lovely wife and a son.

As the Head of Google Cloud Platform Southeast Asia, Melina helps businesses make the most of Google's highly scalable and reliable infrastructure. One of the co-founders of a startup company: Crazy Hackerz (a.k.a Crackerz) and Inetku an internet service provider company. After setting up Crackerz, Sofian got himself involved in a number of projects requested by big companies to create websites, softwares and applications. In addition, along with Crackerz, sofian created his own products that proved to be successful. One of them is Utees.me. A web-based platform that specializes on online Tshirt designs. 

In the course of his career, Sofian had been an instructor at BinusCenter. Some other accomplishments achieved in his life are attaining the award for The Best Instructor in BinusCenter 2009, winning the Blackberry Jam champion Hackathon Jakarta 2012, and Blackberry Jam champion Hack Asia held in Bangkok in 2012.

Yohan Totting // Google Developer Expert

 

Yohan is a developer who passionately believes the web is the future of games and applications. He started out with HTML when still at high school, and is now busy with his studio ThinkRooms – an application and game development studio which specialise in web technology.

Yohan is a community enthusiast, and helped initiate FOWAB, the Bandung internet creative worker community; and HackerspaceBDG, the first public coworking space in Indonesia.

He is the CTO at Kolaborasi Kapital Indonesia(KKI), a holding company at Bandung, Indonesia; as well as a developer relations manager in API Pemilu, an election open data project; and also a World Bank Consultant. In addition he mentors startups in Bandung Digital Valley, an incubator by Telkom – the biggest telecomms company in Indonesia.

Vishnu Mahmud // Ogilvy PR

 

 

Vishnu is the Business Development Director for Ogilvy Public Relations, with responsibility for clients across all sectors. A former Googler, he rejoined Ogilvy In January 2014, continuing his seven plus year tenure at the firm.  A classically trained hotelier, Vishnu began his career at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts with postings in Bali and Newport Beach, California. After a stint in a hospitality tech company and a local portal during the first Indonesian dot com boom, Vishnu began his Public Relations career in 2002 at IndoPacific (now IndoPacific Edelman) with experience in issues and crisis management and particular expertise in the technology, corporate and consumer fields. 

A born geek, he has managed numerous global brands such as Intel, Yahoo!, Apple, Google, Autodesk, Ford, Nike, Sony Pictures and Prudential as well as helping introduce a number of new businesses into the Indonesian market. Erica Hanson has been at Google for over 9 years and worked across different areas of the business (sales, operations, and engineering) and across different countries and Google offices (Mountain View, San Francisco, London, and Singapore). 
 
Erica spent four years in the Google Mountain View and San Francisco offices helping SMBs and eventually Search Engine Marketing (SEM) agencies with their digital marketing strategies. She then moved to London and worked in the Google office there for three years on the Sales Operations team. She developed processes to drive the efficiency of the sales teams across North & Central Europe. 
 
Erica now works on the Developer Relations team based in the Google Singapore office. She is the Developer Relations country lead for Indonesia and is focused on helping startups and developers be more succussful. She is also managing the Google Business Groups (GBGs) global program, which is focused on helping entrepreneurs be more successful using Google technologies through communites. 
 
Erica co-founded Geek Girl Meetup in Singapore, a community for women in tech.

Dian started her career in Marketing and Public Relation in several companies in Jakarta, Bandung, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur. With a passion for reading and writing, she decided to further her journey in the business world through the eye of media. An avid traveller with interests in history, sport, art, music, and technology, she is also the co-founder of iramanusantara.org, a non-profit movement to preserve and digitalize Indonesian popular music.

Before joining Google in 2013, Rica worked at IBM for 5 years where she led sales and program efforts designed to accelerate growth of IBM System Storage revenue in South East Asia.

Henky Prihatna is one Indonesia’s senior-most Googlers - having been with the team from the start, and now leading the country sales team as Country Industry Head - Performance (E-Commerce, Travel, Classified). He is a new media leader with a successful thirteen year track record in web and digital industries. Henky founded and owned BabaFlash.com, the largest animation and design community in Indonesia. He has also authored “The Webmastering Handbook”, a best-selling computer book in Indonesia (2006). Beyond Google, he has worked on top global and Asian brands across diverse industries including Ritz Carlton, Ogilvy, Yahoo! Southeast Asia, American Express, AIG, Toyota Indonesia, Exxon Mobil, Bank International Indonesia (BII), HP, Chanel, British Council, Coca Cola, MTV, Standard Chartered Bank. Henky holds an MBA from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, specializing in technology and strategic management.

Karina works for Google supporting the growth of digital and small-medium businesses in Indonesia as a Strategic Partner Manager. Before Google she was a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group across South East Asia but based in Jakarta. Moving to Indonesia originally to learn more about her family heritage, she realized how vibrant the country was and how important it is to Australia. 
 
Karina is passionate about social entrepreneurship and technology as a way to deliver sustainable economic growth and jobs. She worked closely with World Economic Forum to design Indonesia’s first impact investment fund and has advised several social businesses. Prior to joining BCG, she led a product launch at RUMA to use mobile phone technology as a tool to develop the livelihood of individuals at the base of the pyramid.

Vishnu is the Business Development Director for Ogilvy Public Relations, with responsibility for clients across all sectors. A former Googler, he rejoined Ogilvy In January 2014, continuing his seven plus year tenure at the firm.  A classically trained hotelier, Vishnu began his career at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts with postings in Bali and Newport Beach, California. After a stint in a hospitality tech company and a local portal during the first Indonesian dot com boom, Vishnu began his Public Relations career in 2002 at IndoPacific (now IndoPacific Edelman) with experience in issues and crisis management and particular expertise in the technology, corporate and consumer fields. 

A born geek, he has managed numerous global brands such as Intel, Yahoo!, Apple, Google, Autodesk, Ford, Nike, Sony Pictures and Prudential as well as helping introduce a number of new businesses into the Indonesian market. CAV has 11 offices in 8 countries and has invested over 150 startups since 2004. Steven was one of the first members to setup the operation of CAV branch in Indonesia and has been involved as non-executive director at Tokopedia, Bilna, Haruka Edu and Kurio. Prior to joining CAV, he was working as a stockbroker at boutique hedge fund in the United States and then moved to Japan to join CyberAgent’s subsidiary company called Voyage Group under the ‘Social Media Apps for Emerging Market’ division.
