What is ML Study Jam?

ML Study Jam is a program designed by Google Developers, which encourages developers to learn Google Cloud Machine Learning services or TensorFlow. This program provides recommended learning materials and the participants may choose the favorite content to learn by themselves at their own pace

To encourage the participants to completely study the recommended content, top 1,500 attendees who completed the assignment and passed the verification will be eligible to get a special gift. In addition, the top 100 TensorFlow attendees who passed the Quiz will receive an extra sponsorship (USD 100) for taking the TensorFlow Developer Certificate test.

Who can join the ML Study Jam?

  • Students, engineers, product or project managers, data scientists  etc...
  • Who want to build about machine learning foundation
  • Who want to learn more about Google Cloud Machine Learning  or TensorFlow

In order to help the attendees remove the blockers in the learning process, we plan to host 2 live Q&A sessions as below:

  • Mon, Sep 7, 2020 9pm - 10pm (GMT+8)
    Meet with a ML GDE, Jerry Wu, Q&A on TensorFlow or ML Study Jam

* You may also watch later on demand and the sessions are conducted mainly by Mandarin (English Q&A also works).

Learning Materials 1: Google Cloud Machine Learning

Selected learning materials (pick 1 from 5)

We have selected the following quests on Qwiklabs about machine learning. Attendees who complete one or more quests will be eligible to get a gift.

*The following quest only provide English version only

How to join:

  1. Register programme now.
  2. All of the Cloud ML attendees will receive a confirmation letter with attached lesson coupon "redeem code", toolkits and feedback form.
  3.  All of the Cloud ML attendees need to activate the "redeem code" within the validity period, otherwise you will not be able to participate in the course.
  4. Attendees who completed one or above quest (from selected learning materials pick 1 from 5) will be eligible to get a special gift*
  5. After completing the course, please fill in the feedback form, and share the certificate URL to us then we will follow up with the award.

* Top 1,500 attendees of Cloud ML and TensorFlow who passed the verification will be eligible to get a special gift. (By first come first serve basis, based on the order of Google form submission time, if attendees join both courses, they will enjoy one prize only.)

Learning Materials 2: TensorFlow 2

We have selected a series of TensorFlow materials to help you get started quickly with TensorFlow. The Top 100 TensorFlow attendees who passed the Quiz will receive an extra sponsorship (USD 100) for joining TensorFlow developer certificate test.

Attendees who participate in the TensorFlow course need to finish the following materials and take a Quiz online.

How to join:

  1. Register programme now
  2. All of the TensorFlow attendees start to self-learning and take a Quiz.
  3. Attendees who passed the Quiz will be eligible to get a gift*.
  4. The Top 100 TensorFlow attendees who passed the Quiz will receive a sponsorship (USD 100) for joining TensorFlow developer certificate test.
  5. If you are interested, you need to fill in the application form.
  6. Go to  https://www.tensorflow.org/certificate ,start the test.
  7. Fill in the "Sponsorship Application" feedback form, and provide your receipt certificate and banking information, and then remit (USD 100**) to your account.

* Top 1,500 attendees of Cloud ML and TensorFlow who passed the verification will be eligible to get a special gift. (By first come first serve basis, based on the order of Google form submission time, if attendees join both courses, they will enjoy one prize only.)

** USD 100  is convert to HKD 780 / TWD 3000
