Day 1, July 22

Day 2, July 23

Google Quantum Summer Symposium 2020

Demonstrating quantum supremacy was an important scientific and engineering waypost for our field. Quantum computing is growing faster than ever, with one common overarching question: when will it start to impact the world? While we strive to develop an error-corrected quantum computer, we also believe it is important to design algorithms and tools for the Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices we have today.

At the Google Quantum Summer Symposium, you will be joining over 200 quantum computing specialists from academia, industry and government. You will hear about recent progress in NISQ algorithms, new ideas for error-corrected algorithms, and the first set of experiments run on processors in Google’s new quantum data center.
