As communities around Canada respond to the coronavirus pandemic, we know that this time presents unique challenges for retailers of all sizes. Retailers are faced with tough decisions - closing and reopening stores, fluctuating supply chains, and protecting employees.
No one has all the answers, but the Retail Council of Canada has partnered with Google Canada to launch Grow with Google: Retail Recovery, a 6-month virtual education series to share insights, tools, products and case studies to accelerate your digital readiness and help you navigate the road ahead.
Connecting people with information is what Google does best, and the goal is to build a retail ecosystem where consumers can find the products they need from anywhere, regardless of whether they’re sold at their neighbourhood hardware store, or on their favourite brand’s website or app.
If you were unable to tune in live, you can now watch Grow with Google: Retail Recovery 'Holiday Focus Part 2: Winning the holidays with a fast mobile experience', where Google expert, Billal Qureshi, Head of User Experience (Mobile + Apps) at Google will explain why it’s critical that businesses center their mobile strategy around the user journey.
