Winner: VIVA Kuwait

The Winner of The Lantern Award 2016 was VIVA Kuwait for a comical two-part series on misplacing cookware after dinner with guests.

The campaign had +50% organic views and more than 60,000 views came from people organically searching for the ad on YouTube: not just in Kuwait, but across all MENA countries. It also had an excellent view through rate of 26% (MENA benchmark is 15%).

The award was announced on a MENA-wide cross-screen masthead, generating over 156M impressions and 1.5M views. It was also celebrated through a special feature on Think With Google.
