Schedule

Sessions will be held on the 3rd Friday of every month starting from February 19th through December 10th, 2021 from 10AM-12PM (Pacific Time) for a total of 2hrs. There will be 2 back-to-back sessions (60 mins each) which will include dedicated time for live Q&A with our speakers at the end of each topic.

Speaker Bio

Leonidas “Leo” Marin leads Manager Development and Team Effectiveness for Google’s Marketing Organization. An alumnus of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Captain in the United States Army, Leo served as an infantry platoon leader and then as one of the first Hispanic commanders of the U.S. Army Drill Team.

Upon leaving the Army, Leo transitioned to Google, where he started his career in multicultural digital advertising sales before moving to work on building sales education curriculum for Google’s Global Business function.

He has a Master’s in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and enjoys reading about leadership and history, watching the English Premier League, and facilitating a number of courses on leadership and self-development. Leo grew up in New York City, where he resides with his wife Niki & daughter Vera.

The session will be facilitated by Magda Jary, 13 years at Google and counting, who's committed to enabling fulfilling well-being strategies for broad audiences. Her tips and tricks grounded in mindfulness and positive psychology research will provide you with some actionable insights you can implement at any time.

Speaker Bio

Magda is responsible for all aspects of Google Cloud Certification and Digital Badges and her mission is to grow Cloud skillsets. Magda is a frequent guest speaker at events dedicated to skills development, diversity, and women in tech. She is a certified yoga teacher and has completed a mindfulness teacher certification. She teaches the Search Inside Yourself training at Google, a mindfulness-based emotional intelligence course for leaders.

Speaker Bio

Across a 10 year career in the arts Karoline has trained and taught others in performance presence, improvisation, character and story development, voice and movement. In her six years at Google she has facilitated the Advanced Presentation Skills Workshops and conducted over 20 formal coaching hours on this topic. She is also an experienced Master of Ceremonies for large client events and has attended courses with some of the best in class trainers in this field.

Prior to Google, Sara worked in the medical industry facilitating continuing education workshops for healthcare providers.
