Abdelrahman Omran is part of the ecosystem team working on empowering the communities to have more impact, be scalable, and self-sustainable. He is also a proficient Software Architect, and he considered himself Open Source Evangelist (10k+ Github commits)! He used to have his own startup named "Rinvex", where they build enterprise solutions for SMEs. One of the projects he’s proud of was building a platform for competitive cyber security challenges for both consumers and businesses, where security professionals from over 67 countries, and 98 universities, compete in both online and live CTF competitions.

Rayan Al Zahab works as an IT Consultant and specializes in software architecture, design and development; A passionate programmer, Trainer, international speaker and an advocate for gender diversity in the tech industry. She is the first female Google Developer Expert in MENA. 

Rayan is the founder of BambooGeeks a startup aiming to empower youth to launch their programming career through human-centered coding BootCamps.

KC is a ​Partnerships Manager at Google and takes care of the startup ecosystem in India. Having worked at Microsoft, IBM, Thomas Reuters, Infosys - he has over 11 years of industry experience and is on a mission to help startups become successful by build world-class solutions quickly to the market. A post graduate from BITS Pilani and a trained architect, he has been active in the space of cloud computing for over eight years and had experience in architecting and designing solutions for large enterprises, startups and State Governments in India.​

Ahmed is an entrepreneur, public speaker, passionate about mobile and web applications development, loves solving software engineering challenges across the stack, and he has more than 15 years of professional software engineering experience in desktop, web, and Mobile. He is FlutterEgypt founder & community lead since 2017, co-founded PHPEgypt group at 2003, and currently he’s Co-Founder and CTO at Savvy Tech company. Sherif Metwally is the co-founder and CEO of Informatica Information Systems, a leading technology transformation and innovation company with global clientele and operations in 15 countries spanning Europ, MENA, USA and Southeast Asia.

Dr. Fares received his B.S. degree in software engineering and M.S. degree in computer science from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia, and his Ph.D. degree in systems design engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He has more than 14 years of experience in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. He worked in several Artificial Intelligence projects, such as, license plate detection and recognition, biometric pattern analysis and recognition (iris and face), tumor and breast cancer detection and classification, prostate segmentation in MRI images, epilepsy detection and prediction through EEG signals, Arabic sentiment analysis, and Arabic Chatbots training. With a mixed background in Software Engineering and Machine Learning, he is able to understand and design the complete lifecycle of applied Artificial Intelligence and develop real-life solutions and products.

Dr.Ahmad Khwileh is a senior consultant on AI & Data science at Google MENA HQs in Dubai. He leads the newly established Machine Learning group on a mission to activate an Artificial Intelligence transformation for the largest partners and clients in the region.

Ahmad has over 12 years of experience, 7 of them spent working at Search and Publisher Quality teams at Google where he led the development of multiple large-scale AI solutions to protect Google ads and search ecosystems from fraud and spammy content on the Web. He holds a PhD in Information Retrieval and Artificial Intelligence from Dublin City University in Ireland, Masters and Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Yarmouk University in Jordan. He is actively conducting part-time research and reviewing for many scientific journals specialized in areas including Arabic Natural language processing, Information Retrieval and Data Science. His research contributions were published in multiple top tier peer-reviewed conferences and AI Journals such as the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and others.

Amel is an Artificial intelligence engineer at Instadeep, She graduated from National School of computer science in Tunisia and specialized in Artificial intelligence. She was invited by Facebook to take part in F8 conference and hackathon where she developed along with her teammates an application to fight illiteracy in the world using machine learning. She is also part of OpenMined an international privacy-preserving machine learning community. Last but not least, she is a lecturer in events like Devfest, Deep learning Indaba and AI Hack Tunisia.
