Cloud Security with Cmd & GCP

To say today's attackers are sophisticated would be an understatement. In recent years, we've seen a dramatic uptick in the number of complex attacks carried out against organizations. Often these breaches stay undiscovered for days, months, or even years. Defenders are left holding the bag, often with no idea where their controls went wrong.

How do we fix this imbalance? In this session Jake King, CEO of Cmd, will dive into several specific tactics modern adversaries have used to gain access to Linux systems in Cloud. He will also share how an organization can prepare themselves against these new tactics, leveraging both the built-in capabilities of the Google Cloud platform and several key supplemental technologies.

The target audience for this presentation is:

  • Defenders and engineers, implementing new workloads in Cloud environments, specifically Google Cloud.

  • Security / Infrastructure Engineers that are interested in the threats organizations see, but often don't share in public

  • Technology and Security leaders interested in learning more about tactics used by modern adversaries and the controls and mitigation strategies they can implement to stay ahead of the curve.

Drinks and snacks will be served.
