Shelly Bell is a Social Entrepreneur and Digital Coach. She is among the nation's most sought after writers, community organizers and motivational speakers in the Washington, DC Metro area. Excelling as a truly dynamic force in the local (Washington, DC), national and now international media, her work as a performance poet has led to an arts partnership with the Northern VA Fine Arts Association, an interview with NerdWallet, a performance with the world renowned Washington Metro Philharmonic Association, and serving as an Arts Commissioner for the City of Alexandria, VA. Her mission is to empower women toward entrepreneurship as a vehicle for escaping a workforce that pays women less than men and allows corporations to make decisions about women's health.

Shelly is the founder of Black Girl Vision (BGV), a social enterprise dedicated to finding creative solutions to dissolve the race and gender gap in access to capital. BGV's mission is to expose women of color to economic independence via entrepreneurship by developing initiatives for micro-finance, business development and community building. “Boss Up” is BGV’s signature pitch competition where the community donates, the donations create the “vision fund,” women of color pitch ideas and one woman walks away with seed funding for her business. Black Girl Vision also hosts networking events, social gatherings, and story sharing events.

Her company, MsPrint USA, is a custom apparel and merchandise printing shop with a educational component dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs. Instead of outsourcing jobs, MsPrint USA focuses on printing on U.S. soil then donating to support women entrepreneurs across the country.

Shelly Bell is unquestionably an extraordinarily gifted speaker with an unflinching desire to remain honest with herself and others which attaches an undeniable movement of social impact to any initiative she focuses on. Her motto is "Regret Nothing Write Everything!"
