Google for Startups, Startup Academy Indonesia is a five-day intensive online bootcamp for high potential Indonesian early and growth stage tech startups.The program is designed to fast-track Indonesia startups from fintech, edtech, retail, logistics, agriculture, gaming and healthcare by providing them access to the best of Google's expertises and resources.
Apart from mentorship and technical project support, the academy also includes workshops, plenary sessions focusing on product, business and leadership development for founders.
The Academy will consist of two cohorts throughout 2022 ;
- Cohort 1 of early stage startups (Seed to Pre-series A) in April 2022
The program will be conducted in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and accepts applications from startups headquartered in Indonesia.

Google for Startups, Startup Academy Indonesia is a five days bootcamp for high potential early and growth stage startups.
The academy helps startups to grow and scale their business and solve specific technical challenges with Google resources. As part of the Google for Startups, Startup Academy Indonesia, selected founders outline the top challenges facing their startup, and are then paired with relevant experts from Google and the industry to solve those challenges.
Participating startups receive mentorship on technical challenges and machine learning, and connections to relevant teams from across Google.
In addition to mentorship and technical project support, the academy also includes deep dives and workshops focused on product design, and leadership development for founders.
The Google for Startups, Startup Academy Indonesia will be operated virtually
The Startup Academy program runs for 5 days per year.
The first cohort is dedicated for early stage startups taking place between 7 February and 8 April 2022 .
This program is open to Indonesian startups who are providing solutions in the industry of agriculture, education, health, retail and logistics, gaming and financial services . The academy is best suited for revenue generating early stage startups or pre-seed to pre-series A startup and growth stages that are headquartered in Indonesia with the following details :
Cohort 1 Startup Academy Qualification Requirements
- (Early Stage Startups) Incorporated ( Valid Business ID) based in Indonesia Early stage tech Startup ( Seed to Pre-series A Startup) with minimum of 10+ employees
- Launched with tractions , revenue generating
- Founding team consists of a minimum but not limited to 1 product/tech founder and 1 non-technical founder.
- Have in-house tech team
- Preferred Verticals : Fintech, Healthtech, Edutech, Retail, Logistics, Agriculture, Gaming
Each cohort will host approximately 20 startups.
The Startup Academy will be running between February and April 2022 for Cohort 1 of early stage startups and between June and August 2022 with the following dates :
- Cohort 1 application opens on February 7 and closes on February 27 at 23:59 ( UTC+7)
We want to see and hear from any and all eligible startups - using Google tools is not a requirement!
