Dr. Mazen Melibari

 is the Director of the Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and Advanced Technology Research Unit and the former Chairman of the Information Research Department at the Hajj Research Institute (HRI).

He is a Google Developer Expert in the area of A.I. and Machine Learning (ML). Dr. Melibari served as the Artificial Intelligence Lead at MiSK Foundation and he is now an Assistant Professor of A.I. at Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

He has been an active participant in local and global software developers communities since he was 7 years old. He has recently co-founded Lucidya, a high-tech startup that helps businesses and decision makers to make smarter strategic decisions using A.I. and machine learning technologies, where he served as a CTO, then as a technical adviser"

Mohamed Buallay is an entrepreneur and founder of "Kiwi", he has worked on many AI projects some of which cooperated with WNNA, University of Bahrain and Ministry of Youth and Sport.

He is experienced in Deep learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer vision and Parallel Processing. He was also the winner of The Zayed Hackathon.

Mohamed is a Regional AI Speaker who has delivered many workshops In Bahrain, Dubai and KSA. He is a Co-Organizer at Google Developer group Manama, and has collaborated with IEEE Polytehnic and Maker faire. 

 Dr. Ahmad Khwileh is a Technical Consultant - Data Science & Marketing at Google MENA HQs in Dubai.

He leads the newly established Machine learning group on a mission to activate an Artificial Intelligence transformation for the biggest advertising clients in the region. Ahmad has over 11 years of experience, 7 of them spent working at Search and Publisher Quality teams at Google. Ahmad led the development of multiple large-scale AI solutions to protect Google ads and search ecosystems from fraud and spammy content on the Web.  Ahmad holds a PhD in Information Retrieval and Artificial Intelligence from Dublin City University.

He is actively conducting part-time research in areas including Arabic Natural language processing, Information Retrieval and Data Science. His research contributions were published in top tier peer-reviewed conferences and AI Journals such as the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and others.

Dr. Fares Saleh Al-Qunaieer received his B.S. degree in software engineering and M.S. degree in computer science from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUMP), Saudi Arabia, and his Ph.D. degree in systems design engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. His research interests include machine learning, pattern analysis and recognition, and image processing. He worked in several research projects, such as, license plate detection and recognition, biometric pattern analysis and recognition (iris and face), tumor and breast cancer detection and classification, prostate segmentation in MRI images, epilepsy detection and prediction through EEG signals, Arabic sentiment analysis, Arabic Chatbots training, and OT analytics. He has more than 14 years of experience in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. With a mix background in Software Engineering and Machine Learning, he is able to understand and design the complete lifecycle of applied Artificial Intelligence and develop real-life solutions and products.
