"Road to GDE" is a 3 month mentoring program that supports people from historically underrepresented groups in tech in becoming a Google Developer Expert. You need to have some expertise and visibility in the developer ecosystem to be eligible for the program. Check this tab for more. 

First, you will be matched with your mentor - based on your location and expertise. Then, you will participate in a kick-off call to meet the program team, other mentor and mentees. In the next 3 months, you will schedule 3 to 5 meetings with your mentor to discuss how to improve your skills and visibility in the tech world, and how to prepare for applying to the GDE program,
