Google Sandbox is designed to provide insights into work at Google through a closer look at our technology and culture, with a focus on bringing together Googlers and historically underrepresented communities in tech to connect and collaborate.There will also be recruiters available to speak with anyone interested in employment opportunities.
You have been nominated by a Googler or community partner who thinks you might be interested in opportunities at Google based on your professional background.

Applicants who are waitlisted will be admitted on a space-available basis on the day of the event. If you are waitlisted, you are not guaranteed a seat for the event(s).
While the Google Sandbox series has a dedicated focus on engaging people from communities and backgrounds that have been historically underrepresented in the tech industry, the event and application are open to everyone.
Yes! While this program is geared towards working professionals, we do like to admit some students to foster an environment of hands-on learning and mentorship.
No, you do not have to be a member of one of our partner organizations. We welcome anyone to apply.
You're welcome to have your friend or +1 apply to attend the event using the form during the open application period. Please note that we tend to reach capacity with pre-registered applicants for events. If you would like to bring a friend or +1 who hasn't applied, they will be accommodated on a space-available basis on the day of the event. Admission is not guaranteed for walk-ins.

You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the events. Please note that this event is intended for participants local to the [CITY, STATE] area. Participants outside of that area may apply and attend but would be responsible for any travel and accommodation costs.
We will be providing heavy appetizers, beverages, and desserts designed to accommodate a variety of dietary needs and preferences.
We are casual at Google, so please wear whatever you are most comfortable in. We find that many people dress in business casual for Google events.
