"Aha!" Moments on GCP - hosted by Google Cloud for Startups

Google Cloud for Startups invites you to join us on the 25th of June 2019 from 6.00 - 8.00 pm at Google Asia Pacific (70 Pasir Panjang Road) to learn and experience your GCP "Aha!" moments!

GCP "Aha!" moments are those moments when people look at specific Google Cloud features and say “that’s cool!”. For some, these also refer to things that you wish you knew when you started using Google Cloud Platform. 

Note: Please bring your laptop to participate in the workshop; you don’t need to own a GCP account to participate.

About the Speakers:

Jerome got his first computer when he was 12, and his first paid gig when he was 15, writing copy protection software for computer games. He started his professional life as a software engineer at Airbus, working on autopilots and fuel management software for jetliners. He moved to Silicon Valley in the 90s, got bitten by the startup bug, and proceeded to create 4 companies: sold 2 of them (and failed one of them completely). At Google Cloud, he helped large clients migrate to GCP, but this helped him realize that he prefers startups to large companies, so he joined Google Cloud for Startups. He has a deep background in software engineering, databases, cloud architecture, IoT and real-time programming.

Henry Suryawirawan is a Strategic Cloud Engineer who helps Google's most strategic clients to deploy GCP solutions from inception to production. He comes from Application Development background and is highly experienced in Agile, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and Cloud. Henry has a diverse experience working in consulting, startup, government, banking and insurance domains. Before Google, Henry worked at ThoughtWorks helping Singapore GovTech to build and deliver several Singapore Smart Nation initiative projects.
