These students will be invited to our Google Student Retreat in London in July. Subject to our terms and conditions. 

The Retreat is a three day event for students to connect with each other, develop their skill set and gain unique insights about Google.

Google Student Retreat

We've invited some great Googlers to speak with you at the Google Student Retreat. The retreat is an opportunity for you to connect and develop with other female students that have attended Google's development programs or have received scholarships. Our agenda is packed with technical talks, external speakers, coding and fun activities throughout the event.

Eligibilty

To be eligible for an invitation to the Google Student Retreat in London, applicants must:

  • Be a female-identifying student working or studying computer science, computer engineering, or a technical field related to the retreat.
  • Be able to secure a visa for London by July 23rd and attend the core days of the retreat: July 30th to August 1st 2019.
  • Be over the age of 18 and a Get Ahead participant in EMEA.  

The Google Student Retreat will cover 

  • Airfare (coach) from the major airport closest to the successful applicant’s residence to London;
  • Hotel accommodation for 3 nights in London checking in Monday, July 29 - checking out Thursday August 1st
  • The cost of transportation to/from your home to your local airport and to/from London airport to your hotel
  • Visa application fee if needed (The scholar will be responsible for taking care of the visa application)
  • All meals during the retreat program hours  
  • All other related costs of Google sponsored social events. Note: All other costs not mentioned here will be covered by the student (including travel insurance).
