About Adopt A Startup 

Adopt A Startup is a startup mentoring programme whose mission is to accelerate the growth of high-potential Irish startups. Through hands-on mentoring from Google Consultants, industry networking opportunities and exclusive lectures and workshops at Google's EMA HQ, we strive to help ambitious startups to scale their business further.

Since launching our first Adopt a Startup programme in 2014, we have worked with over 160 high-potential Irish start-ups helping them scale for growth. Many have gone on to raise significant capital funding and greatly increase their employee numbers further demonstrating the vibrancy of Ireland’s startup community. 

Program Structure

The program itself comprises a series of specifically catered lectures and workshops, 1:1 guidance from Googler experts and Networking Opportunities. This year's curriculum focus is on three priority areas: 

Business Planning & Structure

Define and set realistic but ambitious company goals within your organisation and learn how to effectively communicate these and measure success.

Digital Strategy 

Learn to understand and reach your (potential) customer, and develop a full funnel digital marketing strategy for success. You will learn how to use Google analytics to analyze how people interact with your website and make data-driven decisions. Moreover, you will learn how to use Google Ads to send the right message at the right time to the right audience. 

Growth and Scaling

Understand how to effectively plan your growth in international markets and and scale your operations using Google Cloud technology.
